6 Part-time 21 hours ago Full Job Description In our fast-paced environment, the Expo plays the important role of setting the pace and flow in the busy kitchen.
Acting as the nexus of the restaurant between the kitchen and the front of house, Expos ensure orders are timed, prepared, organized and perfectly served by using strong communication and organizational skills.
Expos work with both the service team and the kitchen team to get the food from our chef's hands, to the server's tray, to the guest's table.
Performance Objectives Expo Duties.
Oversee all orders processed by the service team until they are ready to be served to the guest.
Communicate with the service team to ensure tickets are entered correctly, and the kitchen team to ensure plates are made correctly.
Inspect the plates for quality and proper specification, adds final touches like condiments and garnishes, and then organizes and trays orders to be quickly delivered to our guests by the service team.
About you.
You will be busy! This demanding position requires a high level of focus and stamina.
You must have strong communication skills as well as a superior ability to stay organized.
You must also be patient and keen enough to do what it takes to deliver nothing but the best to our guests.
Customer Service.
Expos must have excellent customer service skills.
At times you will be counted on to deliver orders, and communicate with our guests in a meaningful way.
Experience.
You must have previous restaurant experience, preferably as a server, cook, wait staff or expeditor.
A Food Handlers Card is required.
Team Work.
To deliver world-class food, beer and experiences to our guests, you must be able to work effectively within a team.
