Emergency Medical Technician - EMT

Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a good driving record. All ALS units operate under progressive standing orders, which include advanced airway procedures (paralytics), liberal treatment protocols and a highly developed trauma system. Our career ladder has several steps to provide individuals diverse experiences and training to prepare them for a career in EMS. Pacific West Ambulance encourages and supports individuals who continue their education to the next level. We accommodate school schedules so that EMT's and EMT- I or AEMT's can pursue their education while working and gaining practical experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Valid state recognized EMT certification
CPR certification
Valid Oregon or Washington Driver's License
Safe driving record
Ability to communicate effectively with other caregivers
Preferred
General map reading skills or familiarity with the area
Previous customer service experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
