Manager - Respiratory Therapy

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Responsible for operations of Respiratory Services department. Responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, clinical system maintenance/updates, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Samaritan Health Services Respiratory Therapy team delivers treatment and diagnostic patient care services to critical and non-critical patients. We serve all age groups and patient populations using evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION Current registration by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC -RRT) required. Current state of Oregon Respiratory Care License required. Five (5) years' experience in a clinical role required. Two years' experience in a current leadership specialty role preferred. ACLS and NRP required within one (1) year of hire. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Management experiencepreferred Bachelor's degreepreferred Pulmonary rehab and EKG/stress test/EEG experiencepreferred NLH Respiratory Therapy: PALS required within one (1) year of hire. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
